Winfield received its name after the war hero Winfield Scott. It has a small town feel while being surrounded by the bigger cities and only 29 miles from Chicago. Winfield is located in DuPage County and is ranked as one of the best places to live in Illinois. There’s a reason why many Winfield residents never leave.

It offers 2 ½ miles of nature walk trails, picnic areas, Red Oaks Farm Playground, and a tank park featuring a collection of tanks from World War I through Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
